1st Annual Pony Trail

After leaving King's in Bridgeville, we started down 79 to 70 and got off at New Stanton. Our first stop was Laurel Mountain Mustang. Some members purchased some parts. We also thanked them for their donation to our annual oldies dance.
This is the main building. It may look a little small but it goes back a good distance. Most of their business is mail order. If you call and order parts, you can spend about 45 minutes and pick them up to save the shipping charges.
Some of the members outside enjoying the great sunshine.
Another view of the member cars in their parking lot. From here, we drove up the road and all had lunch at a great roadhouse. After lunch, we headed for Pittsburgh Raceway Park.
Some of the gear heads decided to run their cars on the track. Here is a shot of Jeremy at the starting line.
Here is Larry at the light. At least he did not use his brakes going down the track this time.
Frank decided to run his Roush on the portable Dyno that was set up.
Larry at the starting line on his second run. If you look real hard, you will see Frank in the passenger seat.
Jeremy also took advantage of the portable Dyno to get an idea of just how many ponies he really had under the hood.
