Jim and Sue Stoker’s 1969 Mach 1 ‘R’ code

Jim & Sue Stoker

I had my GT in a shop being worked over. I was in withdrawal, and spent time looking at other people's cars on the internet. I found the Mach 1 for sale on E-bay, and decided it was what I wanted. I grew up wanting a 1970 Boss 302, and the '69 Mach 1 struck all the right chords for me. It was a former Ford Motorsport sponsored drag car from 1980-1982, and left in a barn since then. I drove to the man's house in Ohio and bought it before the auction concluded on E-bay. Drove it home three days later.
